Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine surface finish Clean carpets using specialized equipment such as carpet extractors or steam cleaners to remove stains and dirt Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure facilities are well-equipped Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure environmental compliance Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks completed, including schedules for routine maintenance and special projects Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any urgent custodial needs promptly Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on maintaining high standards of hygiene Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors Ability to operate carpet cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift Familiarity with environmental safety practices related to cleaning chemicals and equipment Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly Join us in creating clean, safe environments that make a positive impact every day!
