A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
South Putnam Community Schools is hiring a second-shift custodian for South Putnam Middle/ High School. The second shift is in the evening from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Custodians must be able to perform a complete range of housekeeping duties and work within a team environment.
