A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Part Time Custodian (Afternoon-Early Evening)

Work Schedule:

M-F 2:30 pm to Job Completion(typically 4 hrs) Additional hours may come available after hire and upon approval.

Pay:

$15-16/hour

Job Objective:

Provide students and staff with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work and learn.

Requirements:

Dependable and task oriented Ability to accomplish physically challenging tasks Self motivated and able to work alone Experience in operation of custodial maintenance equipment
