Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your proactive approach will help create a positive atmosphere for employees, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained workspace while developing valuable custodial skills. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and carpet cleaners to enhance the appearance and safety of flooring surfaces. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in storage areas, warehouses, or manufacturing zones as needed. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs to ensure facilities remain operational. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Support additional custodial or facilities maintenance duties as assigned by supervisors. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services with knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning techniques. Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Strong understanding of custodial practices related to industrial cleaning environments. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts. Basic maintenance skills including minor repairs or painting are a plus.
