Summary Novo's Cleaning is hiring independent contractor cleaners to provide residential cleaning services directly in clients' homes across Central Indiana. This is a non-employee, contractor position: you bring your own equipment, manage your own availability, and get paid per completed job. Our tiered pay structure rewards consistency and quality, so the better you perform, the more you earn. Job Duties Travel to assigned residential job sites and complete cleaning services within the scheduled window. Perform standard and deep cleaning tasks including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living spaces, following Novo's cleaning checklist thoroughly on every job with no skipped steps. Bring and maintain your own cleaning equipment and supplies, and document job completion with before/after photos via the Booking Koala app. Communicate professionally and directly with clients on-site, and report any damage, safety concerns, or client issues immediately. Perform other cleaning-related duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills Strong attention to detail and consistent cleaning quality, with good time management to complete jobs efficiently within scheduled windows. Comfortable working independently without direct supervision on-site, with basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. Clear, professional communication with clients and dispatch is essential, along with the physical ability to perform cleaning tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Requirements At least 1 year of professional cleaning experience is preferred (residential cleaning a plus), though highly motivated candidates with less experience may be considered. Applicants must have their own cleaning equipment and supplies, reliable transportation, and a smartphone for the Booking Koala app (scheduling, clock-in/out, photo documentation). Must pass a background check, be comfortable working independently inside clients' homes, and be reliable and punctual, as consistent no-shows or late cancellations are not tolerated. Pay Structure - Tiered Per-Job Pay There's no hourly wage; instead, you're paid a percentage of each completed job, so your effort and quality directly determine your earnings. Bronze Tier (New & Standard Cleaners): Earn 40-42% of each completed job. This is where all new contractors start. Gold Tier (Excellent Cleaners): Earn 45-50% of each completed job, reserved for contractors who consistently deliver excellent, complaint-free work. You move from Bronze to Gold by building a track record of jobs with zero valid client complaints, full checklist compliance, and strong client reviews. Once you've proven consistent excellence, there's no cap on how long you stay at Gold as long as the standard holds. On a typical job, this pay structure works out to roughly $24-$42/hr equivalent, depending on tier and job type.
