A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Showmen Supplies is a specialty distributor of lighting and electrical equipment in the entertainment and amusement industries. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This position is part time with daytime hours, Monday - Friday . The Commercial Cleaner will maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and professional appearance of our business areas like offices, conference rooms, reception area, break rooms, and restrooms. The ideal candidate has relevant professional cleaning experience, and is efficient in mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and other custodial duties. This position is solely independent work but will need collaboration with other employees and the management team. Essential Functions Cleaning maintenance of all office areas including but not limited to: offices, cubicle, executive offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and general population areas Responsible for floor care Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms daily Removing trash from all office areas, breakrooms, and restrooms Perform dusting, disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as needed Stock restroom and breakrooms with supplies as needed Reporting repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks Other duties as assigned Required Competencies Attention to Detail Collaboration Time Management Physical Stamina Ability to Follow Instruction Reliability Ethical Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 year of office cleaning experience Able to pass a background check
