Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Post secondary training in a trade is desirable. Meets mandated state/federal criteria (i.e., approved degree, completion of requisite higher education credit hours/courses, or acceptable score on an authorized professional standards test). Meets all mandated health requirements. A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies. Commitment to keep current with workplace innovations that enhance personal productivity. Skill/experience in boiler operations, maintenance, and basic repair procedures. Knowledge about building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire suppression, security, communication, etc.). Ability to read, understand, and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Holds or is qualified to obtain a pesticide application license if needed. English language proficiency is required. Candidates may demonstrate proficiency through a standardized English proficiency assessment. If the English proficiency assessment is not successfully passed, enrollment and attendance in appropriate Adult Education classes will be required.
Description Job Objective:
Performs custodial duties to protect and preserve buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishings. Responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner setting an example for students, parents and coworkers by reflecting the Noblesville Schools Vision and Mission.
