Full Job Description Description:
Cleaning Specialists are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building to meet customer standards. The Cleaning Specialist completes all duties in accordance with the JanOPS Cleaning System. The Cleaning Specialist upholds the JanOPS Creed by meeting standards for integrity, honesty, dependability, appearance, safety, and cleanliness. The Cleaning Specialist keeps the Area Supervisor informed of all major activities. Responsibilities  Service, clean, and supply restrooms  Gather and empty trash  Dust furniture, walls, and equipment  Clean and polish furniture and fixtures  Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming  Clean windows, glass, and mirrors  Spot clean and extract carpets  Sanitize, scrub, strip, and finish floors  Police grounds and parking lot and remove litter and debris  Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized  Follow manufacturer's specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment  Assure building doors and windows are secure and locked  Report to supervisor needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service  Follow all company policies and procedures  Perform other duties as assigned by
