PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
This position includes cleaning at two locations, they are 7 miles apart, with one being in Niles near the hospital and the other being in South Bend just over the state line near Hollyhock Rd. You will need to have a vehicle and be able to make this commute. Therefore, those who live just into Indiana, or those who live in Niles would be good candidates. There is an option to split the buildings for the right candidate and can be discussed at the interview. Interviews will be conducted at one of the two locations evenings after 6pm. Join our team as a Part-Time Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all designated areas are spotless, organized, and meet high standards of cleanliness. Your dedication will directly contribute to the comfort and safety of everyone who visits or works in the facilities. This position requires that you have your own vehicle and valid driver's license. Please no felonies, you must pass a background check. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Dispose of trash and recycling materials in accordance with established procedures Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times Maintain cleaning equipment by inspecting, cleaning, and reporting any malfunctions or needs for repairs Follow safety protocols to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly and prevent accidents Report any maintenance issues or hazards observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Experience Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Reliable with a positive attitude and a commitment to punctuality and professionalism Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that make a difference every day!
