A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Description:

The Rim Cleaner is responsible for cleaning all incoming wheels and rims that come into the plant. This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the parts prior to melting.

Requirements:

1. Transport rims and wheels from yard to work area 2. Ensure all load/lot numbers are kept together and organized efficiently 3. Use grinder to grind off valve stem and any leftover rubber 4. Check and perform preventative maintenance on necessary equipment 5. Maintain a clean work area 6. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise in work area 7. Follow company dress code and use proper PPE at all times Any other duties as assigned
