A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning duties 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) Perform and document routine activities Carry out special projects as assigned Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Stock and maintain supplies Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations
