A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Care Arc is looking for a part time evening Custodian. As a custodian you will be required to keep the CareArc facility clean and in orderly condition. Primary Functions Punctuality and being present are the first essential functions of the job. Provide the best sanitary conditions for the proper functioning of a health care environment. Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and supply restrooms. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash inside and outside of the health center. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to the floors and fixtures. Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors. Monitor supplies or equipment needed for cleaning. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
