Duties Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures during cleaning tasks. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, and waste disposal materials in accordance with safe lifting practices. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, and kitchen areas regularly. Operate cleaning equipment effectively to ensure optimal floor care including buffing, polishing, and stripping floors. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure facilities are fully equipped at all times. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries while performing custodial duties. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques. Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers efficiently. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and manual handling tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly and work collaboratively within a team.
