What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Hiring for an evening position in a school facility. Daily shift begins after 3:30 PM. Approximately 30 hours per week, more may be available. Duties include but are not limited to: Trash removal Cleaning and Disinfecting rest rooms Restocking soap and paper products Sweeping and mopping floors Vacuuming Cleaning and disinfecting desks and chairs Cleaning other surfaces Restocking and organizing carts and supply closet Cleanup during and after activities Communicating appropriately with supervisor and teammates as needed The right candidate will have a solid work history and take pride in a job well done. Great team to work with at IServe! Year-round position. Cleaning and/or janitorial experience is a plus but not required. Coming to work everyday and being on time is required. Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday. Valid Drivers License, dependable transportation and background check authorization is required. EOE.
