Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable. Conduct custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, adhering to established cleaning protocols. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Carry out facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Knowledge of residential painting is a plus but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be physically capable of performing the duties required, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
