Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces in compliance with safety protocols Conduct heavy lifting tasks involving supplies, equipment, or debris while practicing safe lifting techniques Maintain detailed custodial records of cleaning activities and supply inventories Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and general upkeep to ensure operational efficiency Use industrial cleaning tools for specialized floor care like buffing, polishing, and stripping to preserve surface quality Support porters or maintenance staff during busy periods or special cleaning projects Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices Familiarity with handling chemical agents safely and correctly using appropriate protective gear Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial equipment for effective floor care Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts Join us in creating pristine environments that foster safety and productivity!
