Janitorial Worker Job Description The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the production facility to ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment. Responsibilities Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the production area. Operate floor-cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers. Clean and sanitize restrooms. Remove trash from designated receptacles and transport it to the dumpster. Keep production aisles and work areas clean and free of clutter. Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workplace. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying. Comfortable using cleaning equipment and tools.
