Inspector, Cleaner, Reset to Photos for Airbnb

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable person to clean (who is NOT already a cleaner) to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in one or more AirBnBs. Jobs usually pay $70+ each time.

Note:

We will get about 100 applications so please be patient as we wade through them to organize video interviews. To get to the top of the list, answer the questions, and READ the entire job description. Send a gentle reminder ONLY if you are available for all the times, every week. If you have another job with set hours, this won't work. The cleanings are approximately 2 a week, but it varies, days vary also. We do have other properties in JC so there is potential to get more work. The best candidates live close by

• (home is by the lake), are maybe stay at home Mums who need extra cash, or have another

FLEXIBLE

job, or also Uber or doordash drivers. This job is for one person, not a cleaning service not anyone who subcontracts out to other cleaners. We will train one person and expect that person to be the cleaner who cleans this space and only that person. We have tried this twice and will not be trying it again. So if you are not already a cleaner, but you like bringing order and cleaning, this job is right for you. We also are looking for someone who takes this seriously and is not going to be moving away or trying it out for a week or so and then disappearing ;) We will be investing a lot of time in your training and so if you plan to move, or if you are a student who is going to leave Manhattan, that will not work. The candidate should be able to converse very well in English, use a smartphone well with TURNO app, and be able to communicate well and often via text. Payment is inside the app with a link to your bank acct. We can do Venmo but candidates who can do the former are preferred. The candidate regardless of experience, must take training that will take a few hours onine and 2 hrs in person. ###

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotel cleaning is good but not necessary
• no expeirence cleaning professionally (that is good)
• Knowledge of custodial practices and housekeeping management techniques
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Duties:

• Reset the Airbnb to look like the photos. This means that snacks and items need to be folded and placed in particular places.
• Empty Dishwasher and put dishes away in an organized visually appealing way. Rmemeber where things go and put them where they belong if guests don't.
• clean grill and firepit (occasionally)
• Strip beds and wash according to our instructions.
• Make beds (hotel corners) training provided.
• Perform general cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• We clean the SAME every time, wiping down everything dusting everything regardless of what it looks like.
• Clean and sanitize bathroom, and common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste occasionally
• Take garbage can to curb on Sundays if clean is on SUndays
• Ability to work on week ends is crucial
• Launder towels
• Restock supplies in restrooms, shower and bath and common areas
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines (training)
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs supplies that run out etc.

• use an app for payment and notifications (TURNO)
• take before and after photos every single time in a particular way We pay a lot and expect high quality cleans.

We send inspectors to check the cleanliness level.
