Area Support Cleaning Technician (Nights) - Kansas City Region

Velociti Services is seeking dependable and flexible individuals for the position of Area Support Cleaning Technician - Nights in the Kansas City region. This role provides coverage for open shifts due to call-offs, vacations, staffing shortages, and special cleaning needs across multiple locations. Schedules, shift times, and workdays will vary based on operational needs. Candidates must be comfortable traveling throughout the Kansas City metro area and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Provide janitorial coverage for assigned locations throughout the Kansas City region Fill open shifts caused by absences, vacations, and staffing needs Perform routine cleaning duties including: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Restroom cleaning and sanitization Trash removal Dusting and surface cleaning Breakroom and common area cleaning Restocking supplies Follow company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Maintain professional communication with supervisors and site contacts Ensure assigned facilities meet cleanliness and quality standards Lock/unlock facilities as required

Schedule:

Primarily night shift hours Days and shift times vary Weekend availability may be required Flexible availability preferred

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred Reliable transportation required Valid driver's license required Must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to travel throughout the Kansas City metro area Strong attendance and dependability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods Must successfully pass a background check
