Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining proper storage. Conduct heavy lifting tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring restrooms are stocked and hygienic. Follow safety protocol adherence at all times during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Skills Proven janitorial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe use and storage of cleaning products. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting or moving heavy objects or supplies. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Experience in custodial duties such as sanitation, industrial cleaning, or porter work is highly desirable. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs or painting enhances your versatility in this role.
