What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
- Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices
- Familiarity with floor care techniques
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
