What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Shall have a working knowledge of computers. 2. Shall have demonstrated people skills to indicate ability to function in a team oriented environment. 3. Shall have a high school diploma, GED Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a G.E.D. as required by Kentucky law.

JOB GOAL
