Job Description The Environmental Service Attendant performs a full range of custodial and cleaning duties to keep campus facilities clean, safe, and orderly. This role supports academic buildings, dormitories, and athletic facilities by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene during assigned shifts. Responsibilities Perform routine custodial duties to keep assigned areas clean, sanitary, and orderly. Clean offices, classrooms, dormitory common areas, restrooms, and athletic facility spaces as assigned. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated collection areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, and shared equipment. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue in restrooms and common areas. Maintain cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, entryways, and other common spaces. Follow established cleaning schedules and task lists for academic buildings, dorms, and athletic facilities. Use cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and according to instructions. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages observed during cleaning. Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently within the assigned shift. Adhere to all facility policies, safety procedures, and custodial standards. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is fully onsite at campus facilities, including dormitories, academic buildings, and athletic facilities. The work environment is temperature controlled, providing a comfortable setting in all seasons. Multiple shifts are available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bowling Green, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $13.72 - $13.72/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
