A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Summary:
Oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe, and the customer's quality expectations are met or exceeded. You will also be responsible for participating in daily cleaning tasks as required.
Working Schedule:
Monday- Friday @3:30PM - 11:30PM Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building. Designate shift and area work assignments. Manage and employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR. Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed. Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management. Use floor cleaning equipment as needed (i.e. buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner). Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints. Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents. Complete training courses as required. Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, dusting and trash removal. Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming. Advanced floor care work as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred Excellent attention to detail. Ability to show judgment and to work independently and be able to lead the team. High integrity required.
