Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 6:30am. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sanitation Worker to join our team on the 3rd shift. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across our manufacturing or food processing facilities. Your efforts will ensure compliance with health and safety standards, support efficient operations, and promote a positive workplace atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to quality and safety. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, including floors, equipment, walls, and workstations using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as sanitizing machinery, conveyor belts, and work surfaces to meet strict hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and hallways to ensure a hygienic environment for all staff. Assist with waste removal by collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies. Use heavy lifting techniques safely when moving supplies, equipment, or cleaning materials around the facility. Follow detailed sanitation procedures during food processing or manufacturing operations to prevent contamination. Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors. Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during cleaning tasks. Skills Proven experience in janitorial work, custodial services, or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of sanitation practices specific to food production or manufacturing settings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties. Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness and hygiene standards are met consistently. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and sanitation sprayers. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines precisely. Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting over extended periods.
