A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

About the Role Janitors play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all users. Their responsibilities extend beyond basic cleaning to include minor maintenance, supply inventory, and/or security tasks, making them an integral part of any organization. What You'll Do Clean and sanitize various areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash bins. Minor maintenance tasks that may include replacing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, conducting routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. Ensure restrooms and cleaning stations are stocked with necessary supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and cleaning products. Monitor inventory levels to report needs to purchasing department. Outdoor tasks such as sweeping walkways, removing litter from premises. Security duties such as locking and unlocking buildings, monitoring access points, and reporting any suspicious activities to management. Perform periodic deep cleaning such as waxing floors, shampooing carpet, and cleaning exterior windows. Additional Expectations Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies Ability to work independently Previous janitorial experience a plus Attention to detail

What You'll Get The pay rate for this role will be $20.00/hr.
