Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of industrial and commercial environments. Your proactive approach will help maintain a pristine workspace, support safety protocols, and promote a healthy environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to facility upkeep in a fast-paced setting while honing your cleaning and custodial skills.
Pay Rate:
$16 an hour
Paid Weekly Two Different Shifts Available:
6am start and 9:30am start Must have Cleaning Experience Duties Perform thorough cleaning of industrial areas, including floors, machinery, workstations, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence guidelines. Conduct sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with health standards, including waste disposal, surface disinfection, and spill management. Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely, including vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and custodial tools. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support overall building operations. Follow safe lifting practices when performing heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or commercial settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow safety protocols diligently. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools is advantageous. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and facility maintenance procedures. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
