Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Description Position Summary The Janitor plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This position ensures that restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other designated areas are consistently clean, stocked, and safe for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows sanitation standards, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, stalls, and high-touch surfaces Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and office spaces, including tables, countertops, and shared equipment Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in all assigned areas Sweep, mop, and maintain floors to ensure they are clean and free of hazards Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and sanitizing products Clean spills promptly and ensure walkways remain clear and safe Dust surfaces and maintain overall organization and appearance of assigned areas Remove trash and debris throughout the facility during scheduled shifts Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures, hazards) Follow all safety procedures and company cleanliness standards Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned Qualifications Prior janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 20-30 lbs) Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks Work Environment Indoor facility including restrooms, offices, and break rooms Exposure to cleaning chemicals (proper PPE provided) May require working around employees during active shifts
