A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities. Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area. Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location. Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning. Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs Education and/or Experience Required High School diploma / GED preferred Ability to multitask Automotive experience preferred Clear close vision required 18 years or age or older Valid Driver's license Strong attention to detail Required Skills/Abilities ​ Customer Service Abilities Positive Attitude Trustworthy and Reliable Willingness to learn Other Requirements Pulling/Pushing, Carrying Walking 5+ Sitting Standing 5+ Stoop, Kneel, crouch, and/or crawl 1+ Operate a motor vehicle Lift up to 50 pounds Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
