Full-time Job Summary Precision Staffing is hiring a Janitorial/Cleaning Technician for a manufacturing facility in Walton, KY! This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, maintaining manufacturing and warehouse areas, and supporting a safe and clean work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while following safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and storage totes. Maintain clean and organized manufacturing, production, and warehouse areas. Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual cleaning checklists. Perform fire extinguisher and eyewash station checks. Conduct weekly scale verifications. Follow all safety procedures and cleaning instructions. Use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Handle cleaning chemicals safely after training. Assist with production, wastewater treatment, and DI water tank exchanges as needed. Operate forklifts and scissor lifts after proper training and certification. Work overtime and flexible hours when needed. Qualifications Previous cleaning or sanitation experience preferred. Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred. Strong time management and organizational skills. Good written communication and documentation skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Dependable and safety-conscious. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach overhead and lift from floor level. Ability to crouch, bend, stand, and walk for up to 95% of the workday. Ability to work in elevated areas. Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50°F to 85°F. Ability to operate a forklift after proper training. Required PPE Steel toe or composite toe safety shoes are required. Additional PPE will be required according to job duties, including respirator, dust mask, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, gloves, apron, over boots, and hairnet. Why Apply?
