A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
The Casino Bar Porter is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the bar. The position requires maintaining stock, removal of waste, and general cleaning duties as required. Bar Porters may fill in as Bartenders when needed. The Bar Porter should have a guest service mentality, be neat and clean in appearance, and have good communication skills. In addition, the Bar Porter must be able to work under extreme pressure. Knowledge of all beverages and ingredients used in a typical bar operation. Ability to ring up all products in accordance with policy. Ability to pass a standard Mixology certification. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Serves as Bartender from time to time as business requires. Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned by management. Promotes outstanding guest relations. Performs all other duties assigned. Works additional hours on short notice as requested by a manager or supervisor in order to accommodate staffing emergencies, employee absences, special projects, high business levels, and training programs. Performs any related duties at the request of a supervisor or manager. Maintains the stock and cleanliness of the bar areas. Knowledge of basic math skills to understand and properly use Micros. Follows all local and state liquor laws applicable to our operation. Ensures regular attendance and uniform appearance in conformance with the standards which may be established by Caesars. Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. Must be at least 21 years of age. High School diploma or GED. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Bossier ABO card. Must possess or be able to attain a valid Responsible Vendor Server Certification.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Grasp lift/carry or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart or dolly weighing a maximum of 200 pounds. Place items in overhead coolers more than 15 pounds. Use step ladders or stools to safely remove objects from high places. Kneel down for periods of several minutes for cleaning and stocking. Work in a walk-in cooler or freezer for 20 minutes or longer. Ability to work in smoking and non-smoking environment for 8 hours or more. Ability to stand and walk on hard, slippery, or carpeted surfaces for periods of time in excess of 8 hours.
