The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to following safety protocols while delivering exceptional custodial services. Whether working in commercial, industrial, or residential settings, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment. Conduct sanitation procedures to eliminate germs and bacteria, ensuring compliance with health standards. Use custodial tools and cleaning equipment efficiently to complete tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facility upkeep to support overall building maintenance. Follow safe lifting practices when moving heavy objects or cleaning equipment to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and safety checks to ensure accountability and compliance. Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning procedures for various surfaces and materials including floors, windows, and fixtures. Experience handling chemical agents safely according to safety protocol guidelines. Knowledge of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, steam cleaners, and sanitation tools. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and facilities maintenance. Customer service skills are a plus for interacting professionally with staff or clients when needed.
