Janitorial Worker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our Medical Facilities . This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service. Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, floor care, or facilities maintenance is highly valued. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across multiple areas of the facility. Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and restroom sanitation to maintain high standards of hygiene. Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively, including buffers and floor care machinery. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces. Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or fixtures as needed. Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly for resolution. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction. Experience with facilities maintenance or general upkeep tasks is advantageous. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in all cleaning tasks. Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

$8.00 - $13.00 per hour
