Commercial Cleaner Southern Timepiece Metairie, LA Job Details Full-time $10 - $15 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Cleaning Full Job Description Job Summary The Commercial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized, and polished environment throughout the showroom and designated company areas. This position plays an important role in maintaining the elevated appearance and professional atmosphere expected in a luxury retail environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, discreet, and takes pride in consistently maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Core Responsibilities Showroom & Client Areas Clean and maintain showroom floors, entryways, display areas, and customer spaces. Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, shelving, countertops, and other surfaces. Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, and other visible surfaces as needed. Vacuum and/or mop floors according to the appropriate flooring requirements. Keep the showroom free of dust, debris, fingerprints, and visible marks. Maintain a consistently polished and presentable appearance throughout client-facing areas. Restrooms & Employee Areas Thoroughly clean and sanitize both single-occupancy restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors, and floors. Restock restroom supplies as needed. Clean and maintain employee break areas, kitchenettes, and staff spaces. Empty trash and replace liners throughout designated areas. Clean high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and countertops. Cleaning & Maintenance Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists. Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished. Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, leaks, spills, or safety concerns to management. Perform occasional deep-cleaning tasks as assigned. Ensure cleaning equipment is properly stored after use. Professional Standards Maintain a professional and discreet presence while working in the showroom. Respect the privacy and property of clients, employees, and the company. Exercise care when cleaning around luxury merchandise, displays, fixtures, and equipment. Follow all company safety, security, and confidentiality policies. Complete assigned responsibilities thoroughly and within the expected timeframe. Qualifications Previous commercial, office, retail, hotel, or residential cleaning experience preferred. Strong attention to detail. Dependable and punctual. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Professional and respectful demeanor. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods. Pay:
