Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Perform routine custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning floors Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, laboratories, and common areas Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairways, and public areas Replenish restroom and sanitation supplies as needed Assist with moving furniture and equipment when necessary Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to appropriate personnel Custodians perform routine manual work necessary to maintain buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas in a clean and orderly condition.
