Department LDH-Office of Intellectual & Developmental Disability Supports Opening Date 08/17/2026 Closing Date 8/24/2026 11:59 PM Central About this Job The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs. Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Custodian 1-2-3 to perform a range of technical tasks. This position will handle bloodborne pathogens and waste spills, and special cleaning, utilizing specialized training (Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Hazardous Chemicals). Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Coordinates and follows up on special activities to ensure facilities are clean, functional, and set up properly. Serves as lead worker and guide for special floor maintenance projects such as mopping, waxing, and polishing flooring systems and shampooing of carpet flooring systems and upholstered furniture, etc. Performs custodian tasks (sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, high and low dusting etc.. at the facility's residential, programmatic, office settings, and special needs such as terminal cleaning related to the death of a resident or infectious disease outbreak. Determines the number of each linen type (i.e. sheets, towels, washcloths, bed pads, pillowcases, blankets, and clothing protectors) needed by each home for the day, loading linen carts with clean linens for distribution to homes on campus. Assemble cleaning/disinfecting kits for homes based on cleaning/disinfecting supplies requested per home, and deliver cleaning/disinfecting kits to the homes.

Compensation:
Salary depends on qualifications. This position receives Longevity Pay of $1.00 per hour. Custodian 1: $ 10.00 Hourly
