Overview Join our team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment for our facilities. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and common areas by sanitizing fixtures, surfaces, and trash removal. Conduct detailed floor care routines such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality. Handle custodial tasks including dusting, window cleaning, vacuuming, and disinfecting high-touch areas regularly. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects by using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents for large-scale spaces. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for yourself and others. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques. Strong understanding of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, steam cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Basic maintenance skills including minor repairs or troubleshooting facilities issues are a plus. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs promptly.
