Job Description

Live Oak Retirement Community is seeking an Environmental Technician / Housekeeper. This position will be responsible for daily cleaning and supplying resident rooms, wards, nursing stations, lounges, laboratories, bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with the facilities objectives. The individual will use cleaning devices, including 16oz wet mops, wringers, dusters, vacuum cleaners, cleaning chemicals, commercial washers and dryers and other necessary tools, products and supplies. This job requires the applicant to be able to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently and 10 pounds constantly. Lifting wet laundry into the washers and dryers is also required. The shift times may vary depending on the needs of the facility, which require some weekends and some evenings. The candidate selected for this position will be required to attend a hospital and a departmental orientation upon hire. Please submit an application here to come on board our team!
