Job Description
Sarat Ford Lincoln is seeking a dedicated Custodian & Maintenance professional to join our team in Agawam, MA. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained to provide a welcoming environment for our employees and customers. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to identify maintenance needs. Carry out basic repair and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and minor carpentry work. Operate and maintain custodial equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner. Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment and furniture for events or meetings. Report major repair or safety concerns to management promptly. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
