Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, floor scrubbers, and waxing machines to achieve optimal results. Handle chemical agents safely, including mixing and applying floor cleaning chemicals, floor waxing, and refinishing products in accordance with safety guidelines. Conduct specialized floor care procedures like scrubbing, buffing, polishing, and refinishing to preserve the integrity of various flooring surfaces. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment to ensure thorough cleaning coverage. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities, supply inventory levels, and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and ensuring their environment exceeds expectations. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or institutional settings is preferred.

MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE

Knowledge of floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing is highly desirable. Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to environmental services standards. Familiarity with the use of floor cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures to ensure safety for self and others. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.
