A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for cleanliness of AliMed buildings. Normal maintenance of office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms and common areas. Assists with and performs semi-skilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of buildings, equipment and grounds Inspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance Perform general grounds keeping on an as needed basis. Snow and ice removal with shovels, snow blowers, and a snowplow equipped vehicle in season Prepares requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning. Other maintenance tasks as assigned. Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to read and write English. Ability to do basic math. Has good organizational skills. Requires attention to details and ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. Must have a valid Driver's License Must be able to lift and carry up to >70 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
