Job Overview:

Tri-County is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Custodian for the 2nd shift. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and have experience in custodial services, preferably in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and other assigned areas. Sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces and objects to ensure a hygienic environment. Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste in accordance with school policies and environmental regulations. Restock supplies in restrooms, classrooms, and other areas as needed. Set up and tear down furniture and equipment for school events and activities. Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other custodial staff and school personnel to address specific cleaning needs and requests. Respond promptly to emergency cleaning situations. Secure the school building by locking doors and windows, and activating/deactivating alarm systems as needed.

Shift:

3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends or holidays may be required depending on school events or emergencies.
