What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
- $26.87/hr commensurate with qualifications and experience (plus $2.00/hour shift differential pay for second shifts actually worked), effective 7/1/26. Positions open until filled. School
- 2nd shift for Mashpee Middle High School, 40 hours/week from 3:00pm
- 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, except during school vacations, including summer vacation, the position works 8:00am
- 4:00pm, Monday through Friday excluding shift differential pay. Town & School
- 2nd shift assignments will alternate between Town and School buildings as needed, 40 hours/week from 3:00pm
- 11:00pm, Monday through Friday. When assigned to a School building during school vacation periods, including summer vacation, the work schedule changes to 8:00am
- 4:00pm and excludes the shift differential pay.
