What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Ice Rink Operator 1st shiftStatement of DutiesResponsible for performing designated custodial duties normally assigned to the building and any other duties which come up within reason.Operates a Zamboni ice resurfacing machine in a skating rink to prepare surface for skatingPerforms other manual tasks realte to the efficient operation of the skating rink, i.e., cleaning equipment and rink area, making repairs to bleachers and assisting in crowd controlIce rink custodian is responsible for performing the designated duties normally assigned to a building custodian, which are within reason; ability to life, carry and place heavy objects
