A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

This is a driving position. Responsibilities include all Housekeeping duties as assigned, such as cleaning, vacuuming, removal of trash, project work, recycling, spot cleaning carpets and brite work. Will also perform major project work including machining and refinishing floors, shampooing carpets and washing walls. Will also clear trash from entrance ways and remove snow during the winter.
