Responsibilities Perform detailed cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment. Use custodial tools and equipment to dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces effectively. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture or cleaning supplies. Maintain facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or staff as needed during cleaning routines. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices, including floor care and sanitation procedures. Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety procedures related to industrial or residential cleaning environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
