Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Office Cleaner to maintain a pristine and welcoming environment within our office facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all workspaces, common areas, restrooms, and hallways are clean, safe, and inviting for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere while developing valuable custodial skills. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all office areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Clean windows, glass partitions, and surfaces to ensure clarity and shine. Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality. Restock janitorial supplies in designated areas and report inventory needs promptly. Follow safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is advantageous. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting enhances your suitability for this role. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Previous porter or facilities maintenance experience will be considered an asset.
