TEMP TO PERM 7AM-3
30PM $17.50/hour
JOB SUMMARY
: The Janitor will clean, sanitize, and maintain commercial buildings.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required: Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services as assigned. Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies. Cleans and disinfects bathrooms. Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, and furniture. Stocks paper towels, toilet paper and any other necessary items in bathrooms. Picks up and empties trash containers. Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly. Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, & banisters. Other duties as required.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
Employee works under general supervision. Employee has little or no decision-making responsibility. The employee has little or no impact on the decisions of others.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
: None.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of employees. Position does not require any previous experience working with office software.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 Year Experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands/Efforts Occasional physical exertion including the lifting of objects exceeding 20 pounds. Prolonged periods of standing, walking and frequently pulling, pushing and bending. Mental & Visual Demands Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring. Work is routine and consistent from day to day. Work requires some degree of visual effort for periods of time. Work Environment and Hazards Some exposure to heat, dust or other factors of minor inconvenience. Some exposure to hazards that might cause minor injury. Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
