Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Carry out industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. Assist with custodial tasks in commercial spaces, including offices and facilities maintenance. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure safety and satisfaction of all facility users. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Qualifications Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred, particularly in commercial cleaning environments. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and maintain various surfaces effectively. Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is essential. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player when needed. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
