Position Summary Part-time schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM - 10:30 PM, plus every other weekend from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. The Custodian I is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within assigned facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to: Cleaning and sanitizing women's and men's restrooms General office cleaning Sweeping and mopping floors Dusting and disinfecting surfaces Emptying trash and replacing liners Vacuuming carpets Cleaning glass doors and interior windows Performing other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements At least 4 years of custodial/janitorial experience Ability to read signs and safety warning labels Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions Ability to operate common cleaning equipment, including lightweight vacuum cleaners Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds Professional demeanor with the ability to accept assignments respectfully and courteously Must pass an FBI background check and fingerprinting Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Experience performing custodial work in a large school, office building, or church Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds Conditions of Employment Must successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting Must possess legal authorization to work in the
